The Department admits students by Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the five year standard Programme and Direct Entry for the four year progamme.
The minimum requirements for admission into the College of Medicine of the University are also applicable to the Department of Medical Radiography and Radiological Sciences. These include five “O” Level credit passes at not more than 2 sittings in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Mathematics in West African School Certificate, General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary level, Senior Secondary School Certificate or their equivalent, plus an appropriate pass in the UTME and any other examination that may be conducted by the University.
(ii) Direct Entry
Direct entry candidates will join the programme in second year.
(a)Candidates for direct entry must possess at least two G.C.E. “A” Level passes in Physics, Chemistry or Biology, plus 5 credits at “O” level as defined in UTME admission above.
(b)Other qualifications: B.Sc. or M.Sc. Degree in relevant fields in addition to an acceptable pass in any other examination that may be conducted by the University.
